It is 28th of August! As planned, we are going to alot of places! We took a car to the woodlands stadium, where my bother, mother and I competed in finishing six rounds around the track. My brotther, as usual, run at a speed that none of us can catch up. He overtook us at least 2 times! I came in second and my mother was last. When my mother and i finished, my brother teased us,'Finally your fnished?I already rested and can run another six rounds!' We then drove back to our house.
In the afternoon, we go to Resort World Sentosa, not to play but to eat! My father is an employee there and can dine there free of charge!(for the first $600 for every month) We go to an Italian restaurant 'Palio'. We also called my cousin, his girl friend, my aunt, and her husband there to eat. We ask for the menu and immediately, my brother calls the most expensive dish, which is beef. I call for lamb and most other people call for cord fish. The cord fish is very delicious (we tried it before) but i want to 'experiment' around and my brother simply wants the expensive one. I saw the menu and the prices is really very high! Unlimited supply of water cost $6 (for 1 cup), but how much can one person drink? A 1.5 liter bottle of water only cost around $1! I doubt people will go there to drink 6 liter of water! Anyway there is taps around and people can just drink from the tap.
The restaurant provides free bread though, with olive oil and vinegar which are from Italy. The bread is quite delicious, as they warmed it up. They cook our food only wshen we order it so it take quite awhile before our food comes. The lamb I ordered is quite delicious, the meat is very tender! The gravy is also nice! However, it is abit small. Well, I do not blame them as the rental fees there must be also very high!
My father then go home while my mother, brother and I sat on my aunt's car and go to her house, to play Kinect, a gaming console that can detect your movements. My mother challenged me to dancing and I win, 300.00 to 150,000! My mother keep challenging me till she become so tired and gave up winning me. My brother and i then play sports through Kinect. We play boxing, beach volley ball and table tennis. My favourite sports is beach volley ball, as I can win there! I can also wave my hands at the crowd whenever i score points for my team! My brother like to comb his hair whenever he scores, so that his character will also comb. I lost to my brother in all the sports except beach volley ball! We have a very fun time there.
We played from three plus to seven and by that time, our whole body is aching! My mother call for my father to pick us up and go home. About one hour later, I am back home. I just lay flat on the bed and do not want to get up.Today is truly a fun-filled day!

National Day Celebration in School
Tomorrow is national day, Singapore's 46th birthday! And the next two days are holidays! Followed by exams of cos.Today, our school celebrates national day, and there is no lessons, no CCAs and best of all, school ends early!
We gather at the parade square, where we see the uniform groups marching with the Singapore flag. Our school's symphonic band are at the side of the parade square, playing their instruments. I think the uniform groups are marching to the music. We then have the national national anthem and pledge. Our teacher then told us to pass down the lyrics for the national day songs and the recollection, a student, most probably from one of the uniform groups, say the recollection. After that, the national day songs are played. We sang along to the song and cheered after every song.We then go to the hall, and we sit at our respective classes.
Our drama club performed a show for us, showing us what happened in the past whr there was no racial harmony. Some of my classmates widened their eyes as they see the racial riots.I can not believe my eyes as a few people were killed just because of some inconsiderate behaviour by the other race.

Our Indian and modern dance clubs also performed for us. Both of them are very good! There are very little or no mistakes at all! The modern dancers look as though they are at national levels!
After the dances, it is prize-giving time! Our class won 2 prizes! We cheered loudly and are all grinning from ear to ear after hearing the news! Then it was dismissal time but we go back to our classes first,to give out the prizes! There are many snacks! After distributing the snacks, I walk home from school with my friend.
National day celebration is very fun!If only everyday was like that!

R3 day
It is R3 day! A day where all students from my school goes around collecting newspapers from certain blocks. We gathered in school, then walk to the blocks we were assigned to. Our form teacher,Mr Poh, split us into groups of eight, a total of five groups. He then tells us,"Your have to go to your assigned blocks and collect newspapers and place the newspapers here.Remember, do not enter the residents homes and do not accept food and drinks they give.Other than that, have fun collecting!"
My group started collecting from the twelfth story. We rang a few bells but there was no answers. We all signed. We all though every block we go to will have newspapers to donate. One of us said,"All the residents must still be asleep!"We asked each block in the twelfth story. When we reached the last block, all of us we already wanted to move down to the next story. When we ring the bell, we saw a little girl walk out from her room. Her eyes were half-open and her hair was very messy. She looked at us and go back to her room. We can not help it but giggled when we walk down the stairs to the next story.
The next few stories are better, many residents smile at us when we asked for newspapers and some even give us a big stack! By the tenth story, we grinned from ear to ear when we look at the pile of newspapers. We then decided to bring all the newspapers we collected to the meeting point. The stack is so much that I can hardly see where I am walking when taking the newspapers! We then continue to collect newspapers. We make trips to the meeting point every two to three stories!
At the last few stories, many other groups helped us and we collected a extremely large pile! With our head tilted upwards, we have a broad grin on our faces. Our assistant form teacher the gave us cookies as reward. When all the groups finished, Mr Poh called the truck to come.It took more than fifteen minutes to get all the newspapers on the truck, even with the help of some upper secondary students! By the time we loaded all the newspapers, my hand was already aching! All of us are perspiring and some of us even panting!
R3 day is very tiring, but all of us have so much fun! We all looked for next years R3 day!
